French Culinary Institute Grad to Teach Cake Flower Master Class at CKCA



French Culinary Institute graduate and cake flower artist Ruth Drennan, whose clients have included Macy's, Sotheby's, The Bulgari Family, W Hotels, As the World Turns, and Williams-Sonoma, comes to CKCA beginning this November 9th, to teach a three-part evening master class workshop on cake flowers. The class will be occur on three consecutive Tuesdays (Nov. 9th, 16th and 23rd).

The class will be an introduction to the art of decorating cakes with life-like flowers made out of gum paste. In this three-day workshop, Chef Ruth Drennan will teach the class how to turn gum paste in to a variety of stunning flowers like the ones pictured.
